An open letter to Maradona

Sir,

You are well known as a celebrated personality and an excellent footballer. you were a peril to the enemy arsenal in the battle field of football.. everyone respected you as you were. As a hard core Argentine fan, I also respected you a lot (that goes without saying).

But the recent behavior and your attitude that came out of you after the crucial match for reserving a berth in the upcoming World cup tournament was really unmatured. I can understand the frustrations n mental pressure you went through in the ordeal, but that was not expected from a personality like you. personally even I blamed you when the team was performing bad but shouting and yelling at the media was not appropriate. Infact what u could have done was maintained your calm and responded in a strong but polite tone. hope you'll take into consideration these next time when u react.

fraudulence or genuine ???

Loose Change.. 2nd edition.. Have you seen it.. ? ( The edition doesn't matter ). If not, if u have a lil time to spare pls go through it. I know it's quiet an old piece of work by Dylan Avery. But I happened to go through it one more time yest and a guy like me would easily get influenced by it.

It's been 8 long years since the attack on the WTC n Pentagon took place. Still the real culprits (that's what I strongly believe) have not been booked. Although some people still spend their lives in G Bay, Cuba. only the god almighty knows whether the real culprits constitute 1 % of the inmates.

The 1 hour and 20 min documentary shows many evidences which pinpoints against the then US Govt for hiding many facts. My question is, if they are not true, then why isn't the govt giving a reply for it ? or is it that they have much more things to worry abt ??? or why are the American citizens and/or the rest of the world not convinced by these facts, which makes it true enough for an average person like me to believe it. Now if it's true would a govt kill it's own people for its benefit..? it's really hard to decide..

You can judge a thing only by the facts and circumstances in which it has been involved and if there are so much evidences then why is the world or the new US Govt keepin mum abt it..? We certainly needs some answers and hopefully one day it's gonna come out of the coffin and reveal the facts.

Group Disussion

Recently I was fortunate to attend a GD session of a company which came to recruit students from our campus. It had 2 sessions. the first one was to introduce ourselves.. a more of like an intro and then the second one was to either choose a topic on our own or have a discussion on the topic what they gave.

well.. I was the second one to speak.. so din't have much time to re arrange my ideas as the first guy started off in a wink and I was not pretty sure on what all should I include in my Intro.. whether to keep it short or to elaborate a bit. and when they asked his interests, may be that guy wanted to impress the panel.. he talked of too much tech stuff.. so one of them from the panel said. if someone would have asked me.. I would have told watching movies or listening to music. after that it was my turn

I started off normally by introducing myself and my family background. then moved to my hobbies n I avoided the tech part and said i listen to music and watch movies and even blog sometimes. so they asked me on what was my topic of discussion and I said, I started recently and told them some of the matters of talk. so they were like isn't there a bit of negative reflection in them ??? I was kind of speechless and then said, Sir, I din't intend to criticize anything but wrote what I felt with a positive attitude. It can be taken either way because criticism can help the system to make itself better and I think that satisfied them. and I too was contended with it.

Next session was the group discussion and a topic was given. we had a good discussion and had a fun time too as it was nice to hear the view points of different people. as on what they think of it and how it would have been if we were to live in such a scenario. It went on till an hour or so and had a unified ending and all were happy.

The Aging IAF

Yesterday night me and my friend had a chat on the potentials of joining the Indian Airforce. The conversation got ignited as I said I downloaded an application form for the selection of pilots to the Airforce and am palnning to apply. We had a heated up discussion on whether it would be a right choice to be made because it was the "IAF". Sorry to say this, if we were to successfully complete our training, we would be given to fly the FIGHTER JETS of the IAF and there lies the whole story. with the latest incident of one more MiG 21 crashing in punjab yesterday and killing its brave pilot making it the 7th great fighter plane have made into the history records this year. There are few more months left in this year and if the IAF tries harder they can make the count to 10. I am truly ashamed to say this. With thousands of crores of rupees allocated in every budget. this is the situation. with god's grace we don have a single flight (sorry if i am wrong) which is 100% fault free. where is this money going...? and above all that our brave pilots are not lucky enough to die in combat or enemy attack and die for the country but to wither during training flights. when will our people in whose hands these things lie, learn ???. Thank god since India always takes up a neutral stand in the world issues we won't have a problem from any country and so this all can be buried without significance. Otherwise we would have had it !!!

The Jackson tilt

It's been almost 2 months since the pop king bid farewell from this world and now only he has been laid to rest, in the Picturesque cemetry. But the controversies regarding his death is still a mystery. According to the press release the person who called the paramedics when jackson was in his last moments is unknown. TV footages shows the recording from the 911 emergency line as the person calling and describing the situation and the officer at the other end couldn't identify it was Jackson who was in emergency even after describing him by the mysterious person. The autopsy showed a massive drug overdose n described him as a mobile drug store and the death was due to it. Now the story has changed. The new developements in the investigation suggests Jackson's death was an act of homicide and the personal doctor has been taken into custody. but its still unknown and again remains a mystery as to why he did it and how. A "Minority Report" would become handy here. but as to that is impossible in the present so lets see how the final chapter closes in the Jackson's life end.

Indian Space Dreams

When I got up in the morning today and took the newspaper from my doorstep.. the first heading that caught my eyes was, "ISRO loses contact with Chandryaan-1". to be frank, I was a bit sad to read that because it was our country's pride which roamed the space along with the other nations and now it had to retire at an early age of 10 months even though 2 years was the guaranteed life time.

What made me think was, when our scientists and engineers are far more superior in skill and knowledge to their counterparts in other nations, what ever we make in our banner don't reach upto their standards. what is happening to our ideas and expectations..? where are we going wrong..? When the US and the Russian space probes rule their boundaries, our case is the vice versa. The possible reason for the failure of chandryaan-1 was said to be the malfunctioning of the electronics onboard. Even after a lot of time and money spent in developing them, still they couldn't be made to reach upto the expectations. This isn't the case in sapce research alone. Our Defence area also shares the same horoscope. The defence systems and aircrafts indigenously built by us don't reach the standards. This ia really sad because it reflects the image of our nation.

KHAN't tolerate this anymore

The hospitality recieved by an Indian or any other nationality who bears a MUSLIM name or atleast similar to it in the US is wonderful. These people in the Airport give them SPECIAL ROOMS unlike the other passengers to sit and Have a FRIENDLY chat for hours. They are least bothered what faith he bears n judge he is a potential Terrorist from his name. The latest incident with king khan is one worth saying. Even after he is famous throughout the world among who sees indian movies, it is quiet unnatural. what had happen to him in the Newark Int'l Airport few days back. They detained him just because he had his name SHAHRUKH KHAN and they say to themselves.. " hey.. don't u think he looks like a Terrorist..? , " yeah mate.. Lets take him.. its show time.. let's show him what real America is.. the land of freedom". These fools don't understand that even their President has a muslim name. BARACK HUSSAIN OBAMA. so he is one among them..?

I can undersatand their Issue of national security. But when it comes too personal, what they forget is, they are losing the credibility.

This is not the first or second or third time this is happening to an Indian (with a muslim or similar name) in US. it's going on.. neverending.. so what I think is a person like Khan should not visit that country again. not only him. people like him.. whom Indians treat as a celebrity and treat people from those countries of same importance in the same way. Then only they will learn

Ragging Rules

On Directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India vide its Order, has ordered strict implementation of rules & regulations for Prevention and prohibition of Ragging in technical Institutions.

Well if you examine it, strict measures have been confronted to a senoir who rags his junior. but at times these so called juniors become victims of the "decent" acts by their seniors because of their attitude itself. at times these juniors try to provoke their seniors by actions and words coz they know they have the black cat protection of anti ragging laws like dedicated helplines etc which makes them feel secure n motivate them to do what ever they want. and to counter act this if a senior does something, its RAGGING. There are no laws or directions in favour these seniors and hence what ever the junior say is the last word.

So what I feel is when a rule is made it should be just for the both parties rather than biasing it to one party
